Just Another Reason I Love My Hubby

Why does it seem like when you have a 4 day work week it takes longer for Friday to get here? It's been a really long week at work and I'm glad it's Friday. To make my Friday even better, my husband calls me at work today and asks me if I would like to have a date night on Jan. 14th? Of course I say YES. He then proceeds to book a night at this hotel in San Francisco (never mind that we live right outside of San Francisco) and get us tickets to a comedy club. Look at the views, I can't wait to spend a night with him here. He is such a Sweetie!

Goodbye to Christmas 2011

Finally took down the Christmas tree and decorations. I love the smell of the Christmas tree so I will miss that glad the mess is put away.

Welcome 2012

I am looking forward to this New Year. I have been waiting for 2011 to end so that I could feel like I had a new slate to start from. I have New Year's Resolutions like weight loss, exercising, keeping up with my blog, doing crafts more frequently but I think one of my biggest ones will be to try and meet more people. I don't have any "friends" per se, just a few acquaintances so I am looking for a new friend. Someone that I can hang out with, do crafts, laugh with and get through the bumpy times with. Let's hope that 2012 brings me a great friend.

Have to love San Francisco

My husband and I decided to go downtown today and do some shopping. When we go downtown we always end up going to Union Square and spend time "people watching". I love to look at all of the different people and the styles that they wear because you can always find someone that catches everyone's eye. This man was ready to ring in the New Year and I love it.

Saying Goodbye to 2011

I have about 1 1/2 hours left of 2011 and I have to be honest, I'm glad it's almost over. I'm hoping that 2012 will be a better year; a year of change in a positive way. I'll be back tomorrow with my New Year's Resolutions, let's just hope I can keep them this year. Have a SAFE ringing in of the New Year.
